FEATURES & DESCRIPTION :
Silicon Carbide Heating Elements in matched sets ensure better temperature uniformity and longer element life.  Elements mounted horizontally or vertically.
Internal hot face lining made of special refractory slabs backed by low heat capacity refractory and other insulations of different grades.

Multi-tap Transformer/s with Selector Switches or Thyristorised Power Controls, for regulating power-input and element-ageing.  Special provision for Element inter-connection change-over for match-maintenance of heating elements.  Over-temperature protection, optional.
Digital Solidstate on-off or micro-processor based PID temperature Controller / Programmer with sheathed Thermocouple through rear / roof of heating cavity.

CHAMBER types up to 1500°C :

Floor mounting construction with upper portion comprising the front-loading heating chamber.  Control Panel and Transformer/s or Thyristor Drive/s housed in the lower portion.  Insert type swing-aside parallel moving Door.  Platform/Table models for smaller sizes.

APPLICATIONS :

Trial firing and testing of P.L.C.A.R. of refractories ; Heat-treatment, precision batch firings, laboratory testing,
R & D work, etc.

RAISING-HEARTH [ Ind.Pat.No.149612 ] type up to 1450°C :

Platform mounted frame structure with elevated Furnace section with its opening at the bottom only, closable by vertically moving Hearth raising the job into the heating cavity by manual mechanical means.  Transformer & Control Panel housed inside the frame structure.   Stirrer hole through roof and Gas Inlet Pipe, optional.  Eliminates hazards of top open Pit type furnace.  Ideal for melting in crucible and hot working operations.  Safer, surer and more convenient handling of job/charge.  Reduced risk of furnace damage, cheaper and easier maintenance.  No convectional heat loss during loading/unloading, so low drop of temperature and cooler ambience.
